College Football 8/29/27
TCU v North Carolina
TCU – 9
College football is back! This line opened at -7 and has already jumped up to -9, and we wanted to post this one a little early so you can jump on it before it takes off.
North Carolina is in no better shape than they were last year: roster is still a work in progress, QB is a 6th year journeyman who has been to multiple spots without starting and they brought in Bobby Petrino to run the offense. The defensive line should be strong, but current DC Steve Belichick is on medical leave. Yikes.
TCU has a new QB and offensive coordinator as well, trying to implement a more balanced offense that should focus more on a power run game and less turnovers. The Frogs return a veteran defensive line while they must replace two LB’s who went to the NFL.
Don’t overthink this one – On paper, TCU has the better starting lineup, overall roster and coaching staff. They will rely on a strong run game and solid defense to put this one away. And, TCU won this matchup last year with ease 48-14
